Out takes from Studio Portraits & New Portraits

Inspiration: my brain. literally. but also, that video on Brady Campbell we watched a few weeks ago, showing all the setup he goes through everyday.

Ballet, and GASP.

Up Close & Personal.

The Side-View.

Just Odd.

Mustache.

Look and Smile. Now Do It Again.

The Foot Pop.

Oh. My. Gosh.

Ecstatic.

I took my pictures this way, with hints of the studio showing for a reason. To show that we have to change every setting on every light, and it’s not JUST a curtain, you stand on and smile for the camera. Photographers set up all of their equipment every single day. Every little setting gets changed and their ideas expand.

  1. While these are fun images, they need some work primarily in the original composition. The backgrounds on them are distracting, either fill in the background where all the extra lights, etc. are at or crop them out.

I really like these photos! They may be out takes but they are really fun and cute. I like the lighting behind them! The ones of Christina needed more lighting on the right side because the lighting on her face is distracting on one side and thats the only side you look at. But I do really like these photos! Good job!
