Portraits

A friend in my photography class asked me to take pictures of her for her modeling portfolio, and this is what we came up with, in the school scrapyard.

In this one, [above] it’s kinda freakin’ me out how much she looks like Anne Hathaway.

I like how these pictures turned out, but I think that her face is a little too pink. But the colors she’s wearing really work together with each other, her hair, eyes, and surroundings. I think I did pretty good on these portraits. It was really easy to cooperate with her though, because she knew how to pose to make the pictures look cool. The third picture, where she’s sitting on the ground in between everything is my favorite, it just speaks out more than the others, I think.

These are some gorgeous portraits. However, I think your model made it easy for you. Be careful of your composition and how you crop your images. In most of them just the top of her head is cut off, which looks a little awkward. Also, watch your background placement. In the second photo a satellite dish is sticking out of her head, and even in the last one there is a weird outlet on the wall that could have easily been cropped or cloned out. Over all, great work:)
