Ballet.

The past few weeks Me and Bailey have been working on the ballet portrait project. I’ve edited the photos I’ve taken, and I think a few of them turned out really well. I used more grays with a touch of the pink from the magenta gel used in the seperation light so Jordan would be more of the main focus instead of the bright pink. Except in the last one that shows the seperation light, which is really hard for me to PhotoShop out because of the color variation from the gel. I like the first and third pictures the most.

  1. Great work. Watch the top of your frame where the background ends, a bit distracting, not too bad but a little. Nice lighting and use of color. Links?

I like pretty every photo that was taken. The lighting in every single one is marvelous. I like how in the first three photos have kind of a faded color to it. The first photo is kind of odd as well, but that’s okay. The one thing that I think she can improve on is the background cut off. In I think all of them, the background at the top is cut off so what ever was behind the curtain shows. But other than that, I like them. I like the spotlight that’s in the middle, and then the purple background.

  3. I really like these photos. The first three are my favorite because of how the light is and how they are darker I think I makes it more powerful. In the 3rd one there is something in the photo off to the side. I think that it is distracting. The photos are great and I think that you did a great job taking these photo.

I like the lighting of these photos. I like how the darkness brings out some of the colors in your photo. The only thing that could be better is if you couldn’t see the light in the background.

I love these photos. The lighting in the background is so pretty and how you got her to be the main focus. My favorite one is the first I think that one looks like it could be a painting or something. Good job they are very beautiful!
