I’ve learned… (what some people do not realize)

To not use flash. ever. FLASH IS BAD.

It not only makes everything dark and one point of the picture super bright, it takes away meaning from the picture. Oh and who likes glare?!

And a LOT of people mistake my ringlight pictures for pictures with flash, there is a difference!

NO FLASH: THE GOOD

FLASH: THE BAD. THE VERY BAD…: (picture found on Google)

RINGLIGHT:

Comprendes?

  1. Ringlight is a type of flash. Flash is a quick burst of light that illuminates the scene that you are photographing. There is a difference between Direct-on camera flash and studio lights, as they usually are different size lights as well as different intensities.

Direct flash is not always bad, you just have to learn to work with it and to control it.

PLay around with it, learn to control the on camera flash, it is a great asset to have and to use.
