30 Day Photo Challenge Post 1.

Days One, Two, and Three. I’m just going to do 3 photos everyday until I’m out of ideas. So it wont be one photo a day for thirty days, and it will not take 30 days . But, I WILL have at least thirty photos when I’m done with this.

Day ONE:  PORTRAIT. I took portraits of Jessi in the studio, and this one turned out the best in my opinion. I edited the vibrance, clarity, contrast, and temperature. I wish that her shirt wouldn’t have been the same color as the backdrop, I tried making the lines between them more definite.

Day DY: SOMETHING BLUE. Blue is my favorite color and has been for years. I went through the pink phase when I was really little, but bright blue and aqua just took over pink when I was maybe in third grade. I just love blue! These are part of our glass yard art. They look like candle holders, but I don’t know what they are actually for besides decoration.

Day TRES: SOMEONE I LOVE. My parents are on vacation right now, obviously I’m jealous, fifteen days in Hawaii without me. :( But! I still get to see a few people I love, even though I have to stay home and take care of our pets and the house. So here is someone else I love. she isn’t a person, but she is my family. This is my dog Kahlua. She’s about a year and a half and nearly 100 pounds, Purebred Rottweiler.

  1. These are great projects to do… although for two weeks there should be quite a few more images, no?

Portrait- get a bit of background light on this, will help to separate the subject from the background, give the image some depth. Doesn’t have to be a great deal of light, but something back there.

Dog image- get down to the eye level, if you are going to crop off part of the legs, get in there real tight on the face.
